Is there a subscription?

Not unless you want one. You buy the tag once and Ramble Free works forever: your pet's profile, unlimited scans, finder messages to your email and the missing banner. Premium (£3.99 a month or £34.99 a year) is optional. We never sign you up and we never take a card when you set up your tag.

What do I get with Premium?

An instant email every time the tag is scanned (even if the finder doesn't press anything), alerts to up to 5 contacts, a photo gallery of up to 20 photos per pet, extra addresses, a lost-pet poster and social post, health records with reminders, full scan history with a map, and a free replacement tag every 30 days. One plan covers up to 5 pets. There's an optional 30-day free trial, and we'll email you before it ends.

Is it a tracker?

No, and we'd never pretend it is. There's no battery and no chip. Ramble works when someone finds your pet and scans the tag.

Do I or the finder need an app?

No. Any phone camera can scan the QR and it opens a web page. You manage everything from your dashboard in the browser.

What does a finder see?

A short note explaining what a Ramble tag is, a button to send you their location, your pet's photo and profile, and ways to reach you: a Call button if you show your number, and a Message the family button that's forwarded to your email. You choose what shows. Your email and address stay hidden.

What if the QR won't scan?

Give the tag a wipe, find some good light and hold the phone 10-20cm away. Another phone or the Google Lens app usually does the trick. If the tag is damaged, Premium members get a free replacement (one every 30 days), or you can buy a new one in the shop.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. The QR sits under a clear, hard epoxy dome, so it's fine in rain, puddles, the sea and the occasional fox poo.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is free in the UK and usually takes 2-3 working days by Royal Mail.

I have more than one pet

Each pet gets their own tag, and bundles get cheaper per tag: up to £10 each for 5. You can have up to 10 pets on one account, and one Premium plan covers up to 5 of them.

Does it replace a microchip?

No. Microchipping is a legal requirement for dogs in England, Scotland and Wales, and for cats in England. A microchip needs a scanner at a vet. Ramble works with any phone, right where your pet is found. They work best together.

Does the law say my dog needs a tag with my name and address?

Yes, in the UK dogs in public must wear a collar tag with the owner's name and address. Ramble is a great extra, but keep a standard ID tag as well.

How do I cancel Premium?

Settings, Plan & Billing, Cancel. Two clicks, no phone call, no guilt trip. Your tag keeps working on Ramble Free.
